How do I sign up?Enrollment for our 23/24 season will open on July 10th, 2023! You will be able to enroll on our website. We allow our members to sign up for the full season, or for our individual Fall and Spring semesters. Members are able to pay online through the enrollment options above, or pay in person via cash or check at our first rehearsal. Please address checks to "Conejo Valley Choral Society."

I'm not a professional singer, can I still join?Absolutely! The Conejo Valley Choral Society is open to musicians with all levels of experience. We do not require our members to audition to join. Due to the repertoire we perform, we suggest interested participants be familiar with reading music. Our goal is to provide our community the chance to experience the joy of the choral arts. Having the opportunity to sing alongside professional soloists and orchestra is an experience we believe everyone should have. So whether you've sung for many years, or this is your first time joining a choir, you are welcome here.
-
What is the difference between signing up for a semester vs. a season? We allow our members the flexibility to sign up either for the full 2023-2024 season, or for the individual Fall or Spring semesters. Members can enroll for an individual semester for $100. This is a great option for singers who may have conflicts with either our Fall or Spring concerts, or may be traveling. OR Members can enroll for the full season for $180. If you wish to sing with us the whole year, you will save $20 in enrollment.
-
Do I need to live in the Conejo Valley to join? No, you do not need to live in the Conejo Valley to join!

What happens if I need to miss a rehearsal?Life happens! The staff at CVCS understand if you need to miss a rehearsal. However, in order to put on the best performance possible, we ask that CVCS members do not miss more than 2 rehearsals per semester. Our rehearsals are a huge team effort, and members who miss a significant amount of rehearsal may not be allowed to sing in the final performances.
